Winning strategies for your 2009 fantasy football league

Fantasy football gets more competitive every year. Before the internet (for those of you old enough to remember) fantasy football was a completely different game. Cheat sheets were hard to come by. In depth analysis was almost impossible to find.

But times have changed. Now, anyone with access to the internet, some spare time, and a few bucks in their pocket can have up-to-date professional cheat sheets and information. So, how do you gain an edge over the others in your fantasy league? There are two ways.

First, you have to assimilate the information better than your competition. This is where ranking strategies come in. You cannot simply go off the cheat sheets. You should create your own cheats based off your own opinions. Maybe you think coaching is more important? Perhaps you think strength of schedule is under estimated? When you make your cheat sheets, tweak them according to your biases.

Secondly, you have to go into your draft or auction with a strategy. With a draft there are already some fairly well known fansty football strategies, such as the Tier Strategy. Buy fantasy football auctions are still relatively new so there aren't as many out there. I've created and tested some auction strategies that have helped my confidence and enjoyment of my fantasy auctions. Oh, and they've also helped me win Super Bowls;-)

Fantasy Football Strategy also has cheat sheets, mock drafts, and “how to” information for those of you new to fantasy football.  Oh, and one more thing.  All the information here is FREE.  I won’t guarantee a Super Bowl win for your team, but I do guarantee you’ll go into your auction or draft a bit more prepared and hopefully a lot more confident.

Good Luck!
